Welcome to Vienna Presbyterian Church Preschool

Thank you for your patience as we navigate the unprecedented challenges this school year presents.  It is the policy of VPC Preschool to follow FCPS closures, therefore we will be delaying our opening until the time frame when FCPS resumes in-person instruction.   Our current plan is to offer a 3 day a week program for 3s and PreK students, which will run Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday from 9-12.

For our families who have already enrolled for this school year, there are no additional forms due at this time as they are under revision.  You will be notified when they are ready for completion.

For new families looking to enroll for the 2020-2021 school year, we are not taking registrations at this time since we are unsure of our start date.  We would be very happy to add your child to our wait list.  We will work through that list in order as we draw closer to opening when we are more sure of the number of spaces we have available.

If you have any questions during our closure, or you would like to be added to our wait list, please send an email to Preschool@viennapres.org.

We sincerely appreciate your interest in VPC Preschool.  We look forward to welcoming your family to our school as soon as we can safely reopen.

VPCP was founded in 1987 as a not-for-profit, early childhood program to provide a safe and nurturing environment for children ages 2 ½ through 5. The preschool is a ministry of Vienna Presbyterian Church and operates as a religiously exempt child-care center. Since 1987, VPCP has grown into a high-quality, developmental preschool serving 100 children a week.

VPCP is characterized by small classes of no more than 13 students in a class with two teachers. Nurturing in small groups enables the staff to provide individual attention, fostering self-esteem and competence in every child. There are music classes and a chapel time offered weekly for each child in attendance.

Each class is led by a team consisting of a teacher with at least a four-year degree in Early Childhood Education (or related field) and an adult teaching assistant. Teachers and assistant teachers are trained in First Aid, CPR, PMAT (EpiPens) and SafeTouch (sexual abuse recognition).

VPCP strives to be a nut-free facility and welcomes children with severe allergies and EpiPens. Click here to Learn more about VPC Preschool, or take a moment to Read some of our Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ).
