Inclement weather policy

VPCP follows Fairfax County Public Schools inclement weather policy. If FCPS are closed, so is VPCP. If FCPS have a 1- or 2-hour delay, we will open at 10 am and close at our normal 12 noon dismissal time.   If FCPS close early, we will close on schedule at noon.

If VPCP opens at 10 am on a Pre-K lunch day, lunch will be held as scheduled from 12 noon until 1pm, unless weather conditions have deteriorated during the school day.
